In the information security industry, CISSP certification is considered to be the golden standard of those that know the information security inside and out. To receive your CISSP certification you will need to attend at minimum a CISSP certification course that is usually about six hours in length and involves an exam that covers the topics that are often referred to as Common Body of Knowledge for those in this industry.
CISSP training will cover the Common Body of Knowledge topics that include access control, application security, business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and cryptography in addition to information security, risk management, legal regulations, operations security, physical security, security architecture and design and telecommunications and network security. The exam is known to be tough and that is why CISSP training is recommended. If you are able to complete this training your career options are without limits! So, go ahead and get started. There is no reason to wait around because the more time you lose the less money you have the opportunity to make.
