Moving Up with Vista

Posted on December 17, 2007 - Filed Under Computer And Internet

Microsoft Vista has been out for a while now, yet many computer users are resisting the upgrade. This is the case for several reasons. First of all, there has not been adequate Microsoft Vista training on the average computer user that has allowed everyone to see and use the best features of Vista. On the other hand, the people who have taken the Microsoft Vista tutorial realize that it simply is not as good as XP is and they choose not to make the transition yet. Part of the problem with Vista is that it is so different than XP that it requires users to do a lot of relearning. If you’ve been training for Word 2003 for Windows XP, you probably want to know Word 2007 training for Vista. That is a serious pain for most computer users who want each new version of software to be intuitive and easy to learn. Nobody wants to have to re-learn their platform and that is kind of what is necessary with Vista. Hopefully, Microsoft will be able to focus on getting the kinks worked out of Vista and making it work as good as XP. Of course, by the time Vista is as solid as XP they will probably have a new version on the market to learn.
