Donating Your Organs
I would hope that many people would consider donating their organs. The entire process is simple and shouldn’t cause any significant defects. It is just a medical process to collect your healthy organs for use in suffering people who need them. Just dig around a bit and you’ll find the tremendous amount of people waiting for a call that a compatible organ has been found.
You should actually understand the process though. Organ and tissue donation occurs shortly after your death. Death is obviously a subject that you don’t wish to dwell on, but you can’t shy away from it either. Once they have cleared the organ donation with your next of kin, they will begin the process. It basically occurs as a quick surgery, except they’re just removing your organs as quickly as possible. They are then sealed in the appropriate transport device and airlifted or driven to the eligible person highest on the organ donor list. The surgery to replace their defective organs will occur within a few hours and the recovery process will begin. That’s about it The process shouldn’t cause any significant damage to your appearance, so the funeral won’t be affected. You could save the lives of multiple people through organ donation. As you can see, there isn’t much on your part. It’s basically just one last surgery, but it’s a surgery that can save the lives of many others.
